Our success serving US clients has transformed Salute into a global company and I am so grateful to those who gave us the opportunity to prove the value of veterans in our industry. While we operate in five countries now, we have not sought to develop markets outside of the US. Our approach has been to follow the opportunities of our US based clients that are expanding globally, and that subtle difference is key for a small company. This has helped us learn and grow together and continues to drive more opportunities.

Given this growth, I am excited to announce that we will be seeking to replicate what we have done in the US for our closest ally, the UK. From a military point of view, this makes sense because they have shared the burden of sending many brave men and women into harm’s way. So, the UK like the US has a veteran’s unemployment and under employment problem. The UK is also home to many global data center companies who would benefit from a disciplined work force and are suffering the same personnel shortages as the US. My hope is to leverage our success in the US and drive benefits to veterans and data centers in the UK.

To do this, we needed someone in the UK with a proven background in this industry and the ability to grow a business to meet industry demand. I am excited to announce that Dan Scarbrough will be leading this initiative. Dan’s successful background of growing Datacentre Dynamics to be a globally recognized brand and the exposure it has given him to the industry will be a great asset to Salute. The market response has been very positive, and we plan to have several new clients by the end of the year which means many more veterans starting their career in the industry. We are excited to have the chance to bring Salute to the UK and thank everyone for their support.

Geography has made us neighbors. History has made us friends. Economics has made us partners, and necessity has made us allies. Those whom God has so joined together, let no man put asunder. John F. Kennedy
